Riekies Private Preschool began with one powerful belief: every child deserves a safe, joyful space to grow. Founded by passionate early childhood expert Ria Taljaard, our school was born from a deep love for children and a calling to nurture them through faith, education, and care. Today, with multiple branches and a team of dedicated professionals, we remain focused on that same mission—to build strong, confident little people who are ready for life.
At Riekies, we do more than just teach. We invest in every child’s full potential—spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Our small classes, structured curriculum, and nurturing care ensure personal attention and exceptional early development.
We follow the ELDA framework (babies to age 5) and the CAPS curriculum (Grade R) to ensure every learner is prepared for primary school and beyond. Through age-appropriate activities, guided exploration, and creative play, we develop critical thinking, communication, self-regulation, and social skills—all while having fun!
